Artist Bio

Andrew Harper is a sound designer and consultant for theater, opera, and ballet. He is the longtime designer for Houston’s Theatre Under the Stars, having amplified dozens of musicals with them since 2013. Additionally, he has designed for Houston Grand Opera (including five world premieres and most recently The Sound of Music), Washington National Opera/Kennedy Center, Glimmerglass “on the grass” Festival, New York City Opera, Lyric Opera Kansas City, Atlanta Opera, and Houston Ballet, among others. Upcoming productions include Disney’s Frozen with TUTS and West Side Story with Houston Grand Opera. Many thanks to Mary and Team Sound.
